David Lee Settles, 49, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on Tuesday, August 8, 2023.
He was born on May 17, 1974 in Louisville, Ky., to Gwen Reynolds Settles and the late Robert Lee Settles. David was employed with the Town of Mooresville as the Park Services supervisor.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, James Gregory Dick.
He is survived by his wife, Louann Williams Settles; mother, Gwen Reynolds Settles; children, Robert, Alisa, and Cassondra; brother, Gary Settles; and grandchildren, Truly, Daven, Jubilee, Oakley Christiason, and Wyatt Ager.
The family will receive friends on Friday, August 11, from 5 to 7 p.m. with a Time of Reflection at 7 p.m. at the Heritage House of Cavin-Cook Funeral Home.
