David Robert Anthony, 61, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on Saturday, October 14, 2023, at Novant Health Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte, N.C.

He was born on December 20, 1961, in Corry, Pa., to the late Robert and Isabell Anthony. Dave enjoyed working in racing over the years; where he worked with Ivan Stewart Racing, Rudd Performance Motorsports, Richard Petty Motorsports, DEI, Robert Yates Racing, and as the proud owner of Anthony’s Fabrication; and was currently employed with Corvid Enterprises. He loved golfing, boating, going to the beach, the Pittsburgh Steelers, and being with his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Joanie Peterson Anthony; sisters, Debbie Mead and husband Spud, and Vicki Stanbro; brother, Shawn Anthony; and several nieces and nephews.
