Diana Schum Fucci, 60, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on Wednesday, August 30, 2023, at S. Mitchell Mack Hospice House in Mooresville.

She was born on March 27, 1963, in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., to Gloria Fava Schum and the late Gerald David Schum. Diana was a teacher’s assistant at East Mooresville Intermediate School. She was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church in Mooresville. Diana was a loving wife and mother who enjoyed spending time with her family. She was her daughter’s shopping buddy and best friend and loved watching her son’s baseball games. Diana was a very loving and giving person and a fighter who never gave up.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Vincent Fucci; children, Gina Fucci, and Anthony Fucci and fiancée, Zari Allman; sister, Donna Fava; and her loving dog and constant companion, Sophie.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 7, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, September 8, at St. Therese Catholic Church. Burial will follow the service at Glenwood Memorial Park in Mooresville.
