Mr. Doyle L. “Pee-Wee” Duncan, 92, of Statesville, N.C., died January 22, 2023, at the Gordon Hospice House. Born in Iredell County on August 24, 1930, he was a son of the late Joseph Frederick Duncan and Allie Benson Duncan.
He was the former owner of Duncan Plumbing, Heating and Air. He was an avid fisherman and loved time with his family, hunting and going to Cape Lookout at the Outer Banks and riding four-wheelers.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Tommy Cass.
Survivors include his wife, Martha Danyels Duncan; a son, Joe Duncan; a daughter, Karla Duncan Cass; one grandchild; two great grandchildren; a stepson, Jeff Brown (Sherry); and a stepdaughter, Cindy Cecil Brown (Mike).
Burial will be private at a later date.

I knew Mr. Duncan when I was a child on Westwood Drive. He loved the children of our neighborhood. Rest in peace.
The Schafer Family is deeply saddened to hear about Pee Wee’s passing. His wife and entire family is in our thoughts an prayers.
