Edward J. Muir of Mooresville, N.C., and formerly of Magnolia N.J., passed away peacefully in his home on August 26, 2023, at the age of 93.

He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Helene (Dickson); and his grandson, Daniel Bachman.

He is survived by his children, Edward (Cory), Joanne (Tovey), Kathleen (Joseph) and Stephen; his grandchildren, Nicholas, Andrew (Emily), Cristina, Elena and Cassie; and a great grandchild.

Edward proudly served in the U.S. Army from 1951 to 1953. A celebration of life will be hosted by the family on October 14, 2023, in Magnolia. In lieu of flowers, Ed’s wish is that you go out to enjoy dinner with a loved one and raise a glass in his honor.
