Elizabeth Sexton Puckett, 62, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on Thursday, November 16, 2023, at the S. Mitchell Mack Hospice House in Mooresville.

She was born on August 12, 1961, in Mooresville to the late Thomas “Tex” Howard Sexton and Dorothy “Dot” Brown Sexton. Mrs. Puckett was retired from Bridgeport Fabrics. She loved her family and spending time with them.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Puckett; and brother, Bobby Sexton.

She is survived by her sons, Douglas “Wayne” Puckett and David Puckett and wife Megan; grandchildren, Justin, Emily, Breanna, Beau, Brooke, Victoria, Mikey, Wesley, and Kaylee; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Monday, November 20, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home. A Memorial service will be held at a later date.
