Fay Ellen Moore, 78, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on Thursday, August 31, 2023, at the S. Mitchell Mack Hospice House in Mooresville.

She was born on December 9, 1944 in Mooresville, to the late Harlin and Lois Johnson Moore. She was retired from Best Sweets after 21 years of service. Fay enjoyed watching TV playing Bingo, travelling, and going to the mountains. She loved the Dallas Cowboys and spending time with her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Norman “Wayne” Moore, Robert “Bobby” Moore and Jerry Moore; and sisters-in-law, Mary Moore and Judy Moore.

Fay is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, September 6, at Glenwood Memorial Park with Chaplain Eddie Karriker officiating.
