Isabella “Belle” Lepore Lux, 94, passed away on Saturday, April 15, 2023, at her home. She was born June 29, 1928, in Queens, N.Y., to the late Domenico Lepore and Filomena Toscano Lepore.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gerard Paul Lux; son, Jerry Lux; brothers, Rocky, Nicky, Joey, and Mike Lepore; and sister, Margaret Palumbo.

Belle enjoyed bowling. She was a former member of the Lion’s Club, a member of the Red Hats Club, and she volunteered at the VA hospital. She loved being with her family and friends, and especially her grandchildren. She was a hairdresser before her retirement.

Belle was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church.

Visitation for family and friends will be on Friday, April 21, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home. A funeral Mass will be on Saturday, April 22, at 11 a.m. at St. Therese Catholic Church with Father Lawlor officiating. Burial will be at 1:30 p.m. at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Matthews, N.C.
