Jacqueline Wray Elliott, 53, of Mooresville, N.C., went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 16, 2023.
She was born on October 7, 1969 in Goshen, Ind., to James and Cathy Steele Wray. Jackie was an art teacher at South Rowan High School, where she taught for 28½ years. She loved teaching and being a South Rowan Raider. She was a member of First Reformed Church of Landis and attended The Cove Church in Mooresville. Jackie enjoyed running, flowers, being outdoors, the heat of the summer, and the beach. She never met a stranger and always gave back to those around her.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Jeremy Elliott; daughters, Bailee Elliott and Blythe Elliott; brother, Jonathan Wray and his wife Tina; mother-in-law, Anna Elliott; her loving aunts, uncles, cousins; and her beloved dog, Brodie.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 20, from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Heritage House of Cavin-Cook Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Monday at First Reformed Church of Landis with Pastor David Franks officiating. Burial will follow the service at Glenwood Memorial Park, Mooresville.
