Jasper Damien Damask, 20, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on Monday, September 18, 2023.

He was born on March 28, 2003, in Mecklenburg County, N.C., to Thomas and Janeen Cranford Gilchrist. Damien enjoyed arts, painting, sewing, short film making, writing, and poetry. He was incredibly creative, intelligent, and had an amazing sense of humor.

In addition to his parents, Thomas and Janeen, he is survived by his sister, Abbey Gilchrist; grandparents, R.D. and Sue Cranford, Paul Gilchrist and Marge Stovall; aunts and uncles, Jill Brannon (Bill), Gina Stovall (Bob), Steve Cranford (Tracy), Steve Gilchrist (Gerrie); and his loving pets, Aristotle, Salem, Midnight, Roofus, Fluffy, and Kingsley.
