Jimmie Stewart Johnson, 79, of Troutman, N.C., passed away on Friday, July 21, 2023.

He was the husband of the late Linda Brown Johnson and the son of the late James Arville and Helen Stewart Johnson. He was previously employed as a truck driver with Jack Wooten Trucking and attended Troutman High School.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was also preceded in death by one son, James Johnson; one sister, Janet J. Koltes; and one brother, Creighton Johnson.

Jimmie is survived by two sons, Steven Mark Johnson of Troutman and Russell Anthony Johnson of Statesville; and one daughter, Jeannie Johnson of Troutman. Also surviving are four granddaughters, Morgan Johnson, Sabrina Johnson, Helen Johnson, and Linda Johnson; one grandson, Levi Johnson; and two step grandsons, Bryan Hernandez and Manual Hernandez.

No services are planned at this time.
