Jimmy Graden Fox, 87, of Statesville, N.C., passed away on Wednesday, October 18, 2023. Jimmy Graden Fox was born in Alexander County, N.C., on July 29, 1936, to John Dallas Fox and Clara Catherine Bowman Fox, the youngest of six children.

Jimmy married the love of his life, Reba Ann Duncan, on March 1, 1957. She preceded him in death on July 22, 2020.

He was educated in Iredell County, N.C., at Sharon School and Celeste Hinkle. He farmed, was a Farm Service Agent, and worked at Jimmy Fox Logging. He was a member of New Bethany Baptist Church in Statesville, N.C.

Jimmy is survived by his son, Nelson Fox (Kim); daughter, Crystal Pardue; grandchildren, Angel Pardue, Dallas Fox, and David Fox; great-grandchildren, Summer Fulbright and River Pardue; pet and companion, Doodle; and special friend and caregiver, Marty Guy.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 24, 2023, at New Bethany Baptist Church, from 1 until 2:30 p.m. The funeral service will follow at 2:30 p.m. with Preacher Bill Mason officiating. Burial will be at the New Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery.
