John David Wilson Jr., 46, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on Friday, September 15, 2023, at his home.

He was born March 11, 1977, in Albany, Ga., to John David Wilson Sr. and Rita Sneyd Wilson. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He was a disabled American veteran. John was a very simple man. He loved to work with his hands and make things. He especially enjoyed hanging out with family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Lisa Eason Wilson; daughter, Madison Wilson; and his furry canine friend, Coco.

A graveside service with full military honors will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, September 21, at the Salisbury National Cemetery.
