Johnny Wrenn Arney, 69, of Barium Springs, N.C., passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, February 20, 2023.

Johnny was born on August 6, 1953, to the late John and Doris Arney. He loved spending time with family, his dogs and working on his truck.

In addition to his parentss, he was preceded in death by a sister, Toni Arney; and brother, Juan Arney.

He is survived by his loving wife, Lisa Arney; son, John Christian Arney; sister, Vicki Overcash (Larry); brother, Jeff Arney (Crystal); and several nieces and nephews.

A service to celebrate Johnny’s life will be held at 12 noon at Mooresville Church of God on Saturday, March 4, 2023.

Those who wish to remember Johnny in a special way may make gifts in his memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
