Joshua Michael Bryer, 46, passed away on Friday, September 29, 2023, in Statesville, N.C. He was born in Bergen County, N.J., on August 31, 1977.

Josh is survived by his parents, William and Angela Loof of Leesville, S.C.; partner, Rikki Carter of Statesville, N.C.; brothers, Zachary Bryer of Statesville, N.C., and Matthew Loof of Rock Hill,  S.C.; sister, Rebecca Loof; nephew, Cole Bryer; niece, Luna Bryer; and by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear, lifelong friends. Josh is also survived by Rikki’s parents, Dennis and Joan Carter, and by her brother, Josh Carter, all of whom provided so much love and support.

Josh was an artist. He enjoyed art, collectibles, watching and reviewing movies, and, most of all, he loved dogs.

A Celebration of Life for Josh will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2023, at Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home, in Statesville, N.C., from 1 until 3 p.m.
