Judy Crump Turner, 72, of Mooresville, N.C., went home to be with Jesus on Tuesday, August 8, 2023.

She was born on October 13, 1950, in Mecklenburg County, N.C., to the late Duke and Ellis Brown Crump. She attended Mount Mourne Church of God and worked for Lowes Foods and Food Lion in the deli for many years. She always loved taking care of her family. Judy never met a stranger. She enjoyed cooking, shopping, dancing, and playing rummy and had a musical passion for Elvis Presley.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two brothers.

Judy is survived by her loving husband, Robert “Bobby” Turner; son, Scottie Turner and wife Dawn; daughter, Betty Gerring and husband John; grandchildren, Merissa Correll, Jacie Gerring, Amber Tillman, Meagan Turner, and Erika Turner; two great-grandsons; her sister, Shirley Johnson; and best friend, Mary.

No services will be held.
