Judy Marie Collins-Stanley went to be with our Lord and Savior on Sunday, March 12, 2023. She was preceded in death by her parents, Everette Lee Collins and Dorothy Price Collins, both of Kannapolis, N.C. Her sister was Rebecca (Daniel) Poplin.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas Ed Stanley; sons, Barry Dale Price Jr. and wife Trish, and Eric Price with partner Colleen Hayko. Judy also was a grandmother to Christopher Price (24) and Ashton Price (19).

Judy graduated from A. L. Brown High School in 1962. She always loved playing the piano and was crowned Miss Rowan County in 1963. Judy was an active member of Centerview Baptist Church in her early years in Kannapolis. She attended Central Piedmont Community College and Appalachian State University.

Judy loved attending services at Central Church of God in Charlotte and rescuing animals from Lake Norman Animal Rescue.

A family ceremony will be held in Wrightsville Beach in April. In lieu of flowers, you can donate to Lake Norman Humane at https://www.lakenormanhumane.org/.
