Kara Lynne Warren, 45, of Statesville, N.C., passed away unexpectedly on Monday, December 11, 2023. She was the daughter of the late William Kenneth Warren and Brenda Wilhelm Warren.

Kara was a member of Yadkin Baptist Church. She was a graduate of North Iredell High School and obtained a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Gardner-Webb University. She worked as a nurse in the health insurance industry and her career as a nurse spanned over 20 years. Kara had a special place in her heart for all animals, especially cats.

Kara is survived by her mother, Brenda Warren; one sister, Amy White; two nieces, Alyssa (Joseph) White and Jenna White; one nephew, Will White; and an aunt, Bonnie Lambert.

In addition to her father, she was also preceded in death by both sets of her grandparents, Nell and William Warren and Lottie and Raymond Wilhelm.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made in Kara’s honor to the local animal shelter of your choice.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the future and will be announced when the details become available.
