Kathleen Edwards Standish, 69, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on Monday, March 27, 2023. She was born on May 31, 1954 in Ypsilanti, Mich., to the late John and Marlene Gonyou Edwards.

Mrs. Standish was a member of Berea Baptist Church in Mooresville. She enjoyed crocheting, flower and vegetable gardening, and fishing. She loved her cats and being a wife, mother, and grandmother.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Gary Peter Edwards.

She is survived by her husband, Edward Standish; children, Matthew Lang, Heather Lang, Tiffany Ervin, and Theresa Ervin; brother, Kevin Reed; and grandchildren, Hannah, Ethan, Brendon, and Lillian.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 2, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, April 3, at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow the service at Berea Baptist Church Cemetery.
