Kathy Elaine Lippard Tevepaugh, 62, of Statesville, N.C., passed away on Friday, September 15, 2023, at Iredell Memorial Hospital. Born on July 29, 1961, in Iredell County, she was the daughter of the late John Thomas Lippard and DeAnn Lucille Hobbs.

Kathy was a loving mother who cherished her family. She absolutely loved her grandbabies and enjoyed spending time with them. Kathy was known for her passion for baking. She loved to bake cakes, pies and was a “great cook.”

In addition to her parents, John Thomas Lippard and DeAnn Lucille Hobbs, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald “Rusty“ Wayne Tevepaugh; her son, Timothy Wayne Tevepaugh; and her brother, David Thomas Lippard.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Jeffery David Lippard and Thomas Joel Tevepaugh (Ashley); her loving grandchildren, Gage, Colton, McKenzie, Addison, Chantz, Cassidy, and Lacy; her brothers, John Thomas Lippard (Cassi) and Scottie “Scott” Lippard (Carrie); and her aunt, Phyllis Wadell.

A Service to Celebrate Kathy’s life will be held at 5 p.m. on Friday, September 22, 2023, in the Chapel of Nicholson Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 4 p.m. in the Chapel of Nicholson Funeral Home.
