Kenneth Oliver Stanley, 89, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on March 21, 2023. He was born on March 7, 1934, in Wilkes, N.C., to the late William and Hannah Stanley.

Kenneth was a tried and true Dale Earnhardt Sr. fan. He was always ready to go out to eat with whomever would ask. Kenneth was a man who never met a stranger and was a hard-working and talented brick mason. He also enjoyed traveling and loved his family and any time he could spend with them. He will be greatly missed by all who loved him.

In addition to his parents, Kenneth was preceded in death by his wife, Bobbie Hager Stanley, and a sister, Carolyn Martin.

He is survived by his children, Dianne Carver and Cindy Stanley; grandson, Todd Carver (Tracie), Melinda Carver (Michael), Angie McGuffin (Colin), Shannon Freeland (Darian), Aleha McGowan (Tim); great-grandchildren, Mason Carver, Onna Terry, Austin Freeland, Olivia Carver, Josh Freeland, Nathan McGowan, and Abby Freeland; great-great-granddaughter, Ellie Freeland; special friend, Barbara Smith; and several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 23, 2023, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home and Crematory, Mooresville, N.C. There will be a graveside service held on Friday, March 24, 2023, at 11 a.m. at Glenwood Memorial Park, Mooresville, N.C.
