C. Leonard Knox, 73, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on Monday, October 23, 2023, at Lake Norman Regional Medical Center in Mooresville. He was born on February 26, 1950, in Mooresville to the late Carl Neal Knox and Pauline Oliphant Knox.

Mr. Knox attended the Mulberry School in Statesville. He was a member of Mooresville Church of God, where he loved his church family. He enjoyed watching HGTV and was very passionate about home construction and renovations. Leonard loved his family and was a huge Carolina Tar Heel fan. Go Heels!

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Larry Robinson.

He is survived by his sister, Carol Knox Robinson; nieces, Jennifer Bagby and husband Rick, and Ashley Houk and husband Scott; and his adored great nieces and nephew, Payton and Taylor Bagby, and Seth Houk.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 28, from 10 to 11 a.m. with a service following at 11 a.m. at the Mooresville Church of God with Rev. Donald Wise officiating. Burial will follow the service at Glenwood Memorial Park. The family encourages you to wear his favorite color, Carolina Blue, in honor of Leonard.
