Lilrena “Lady” Pharr Roseboro, 60, of Kannapolis, N.C., passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2023, at Lake Norman Regional Medical Center in Mooresville, N.C.
She was born on February 20, 1963, in Concord, N.C., to Cora Goodson Pharr and the late Broadus Pharr. Lilrena was a graduate of Cabarrus County Schools and Penn Foster College. She was a bus driver with the public schools. She enjoyed reading, arts and crafts, traveling, and being with her family.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Roseboro; daughters, Latoya Williford and Sheba Kennedy; sister, Billie Ruth Pharr; and great granddaughter, Baine Heard.
Lilrena is survived by her mother, Cora; daughters, Tyra Kennedy, Latika Pharr, Latavia Pharr, Antious Ford, and Latashula Pharr; sisters, Mary Pharr and Bobbie Pharr; grandchildren, Beatrice, Sarah, Samantha, Julian, Elizabeth, Jacobi, Uriah, Nyrobi, Damayah, Layah, Zyra, Kenneth, Kenzli, Jalyka, Cedrion, Stacia, Curtis, Christian, Cherish, Cahlil, Ezrael, Gabriel, Kezariah, and Ke’Mara; and 19 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 7, from 1 to 2 p.m. with a service following at 2 p.m. at The Altar Church, 188 Wiggins Road, Mt Ulla, NC 28125. Burial will follow the service at Glenwood Memorial Park, Mooresville.
