Linda Beckham Meredith, 59, of Union Grove, N.C., went home to be with the Lord on March 28, 2023, at home after a brief illness. Linda was born in Iredell County on July 3, 1963, to the late James “Buck” Beckham and Mary Lee Beckham.

Linda loved her family and pets. She was a member of Barkers Grove Baptist Church in Union Grove for 26 years.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 26 years, Roger Meredith of the home; one daughter, Kimberly Rice and husband Austin of Daytona Beach, Fla.: one son, Stephen Meredith of the home; one brother, Jimmy Beckham and wife Debra of Hiddenite; two sisters, Christine Gaddis and husband Eddy of Hiddenite, and Sandra Freeze and husband Wayne of Hiddenite; and four grandchildren, Elisha Bryan, Caitlin Rice, Elsie Rice, and Peyton Rice.

Funeral Services will be conducted Friday, March 31, 2023, at 12 noon at Barkers Grove Baptist Church in Union Grove. Rev. Keith Stanley will officiate. The Family will receive friends on Friday, March 31, 2023, at 11 a.m. at Barkers Grove Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Church Cemetery.
