Lisa Kramer Downum, 53, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at Novant Health Huntersville Medical Center.

She was born on September 5, 1969, in Cheverly, Md., to Barbara Miles Kramer and the late Donald Kramer. Mrs. Downum was a member of Williamson’s Chapel United Methodist Church in Mooresville. She enjoyed short track racing, going to the beach and mountains, and being with her family and friends.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brother, Steve Kramer.

She is survived by her husband, Allen Downum; mother, Barbara Kramer; sons, Allen Downum, Andrew Downum, and Adam Downum; brothers, Wayne Kramer, Gary Kramer, and Kevin Kramer; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 30, from 1 to 2 p.m. with a memorial service following at 2 p.m. at Williamson’s Chapel United Methodist Church with Rev. Mark Pitts officiating.
