Lola Mahaffey Siceloff, 88, of Olin, N.C., entered her heavenly home on February 8, 2023.

Lola was born on May 5, 1934, in Wilkes, N.C. She was the daughter of the late Rual Mahaffey and Mary Dowell Mahaffey. In addition to her mother and father, Lola was preceded in death by her loving husband, John C. Siceloff; two sons, David and Phillip Siceloff; and two grandchildren, Lola Hunley and Chesley Siceloff.

Lola chose a career in the healthcare field and worked as a CNA for ten years. She was a Christian woman and attended Bible Way Baptist Church in Wilkesboro.

Lola leaves behind to cherish her memory two sons, Paul Siceloff (Lynn) of North Wilkesboro and John Siceloff (Mabel) of Olin; four grandchildren, Philip Siceloff (Megan), Melanie Griffith (Jason), Seth Siceloff (Tabetha), and Zachary Siceloff (Tiffanie Blackburn); and 14 great-grandchildren.

On Friday, February 10, a visitation for Lola will be held at Command Baptist Church from 2:30 to 3 p.m. Following visitation, at 3 p.m., Brother Kenneth McCann and Pastor Scott Whitman will officiate the funeral service. Lola will be laid to rest in Command Baptist Church Cemetery.
