Martha Elizabeth Bell, 97, passed away Thursday, March 2, 2023.

Martha was born March 13, 1925, in Lincolnton, N.C., to Mr. and Mrs. Carpenter. Martha enjoyed the outdoors, tending to her flower garden and fishing. She also loved to travel.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Wallace Leonard Bell Sr.; daughter, Judy Reed; and grandsons, Shawn and Dwayne Bell.

Martha is survived by her daughter, Ann McDaniel (Terry); sons, John “Nookie” Bell (Karen) and Wallace Bell Jr. (Linda); and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held Monday, March 6, 2023, at 2 p.m. at Crestview Baptist Church with burial to follow at Crestview Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be be one hour prior to the service.
