Mary Padgett Troutman, 90, passed away Sunday, April 9, 2023. She was born on October 23,1932, to the late Pauline and William Padgett. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Troutman.

She valued her Christian faith. A highlight of Mary’s life was the time that she spent in Israel, where she was baptized in the Jordan River. She spoke of the wonderful experience that she had traveling to Greece and different islands in the Mediterranean Sea.

A graveside service will be held Sunday, April 30, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. at the Oakwood Cemetery in Statesville.
