Michael Bays Todd, 75, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on Sunday, October 15, 2023.

He was born on September 9, 1948 in Roanoke, Va., to the late Alexander and Norma Hampton Todd. Mr. Todd grew up on a Dairy Farm in Independence, Va., and later in life became a District Manager for Dairy Farmers of America. He graduated from Virginia Tech University with a Bachelor of Science with emphasis in Dairy Science. He enjoyed raising cattle, hunting, playing cards, his mountain house, and being with his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Jane Engle Todd; brother-in-law, Jim Engle and wife Rita; sister-in-law, Freida Bryant; niece, Liz Engle; nephew, Michael Engle; and several cousins.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 21, at the Lingle Chapel of Davidson College Presbyterian Church. A reception will follow the service in the church parlor.

Memorial donations may be made in Michael’s name to the American Red Cross, 2425 Park Road, Charlotte, NC 28203.
