Michael Howard Lamm, 71, of Mount Ulla, N.C., passed away on Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at his residence.

He was born on February 12, 1952 in Wood County, W.Va., to Ruth Lamm and the late Myles Lamm. Mr. Lamm was retired from Duke Power. He earned his Eagle Scout in 1971 with Boy Scout Troop 217 in Barlow, Ohio. After moving to Mount Ulla, he got involved with the Boy Scout Troop at Thyatira Presbyterian Church in Mount Ulla. He enjoyed being on the lake, sailing, camping, and backpacking. Mr. Lamm loved his family and friends and enjoyed spending time with them.

In addition to his mother, Ruth, he is survived by his wife of 48 years, Patty Cadieu Lamm; daughter, Monica Lamm Henriksen; brother, Dennis Lamm; and beloved grandchildren, Matthew, Will, Lilly, and Ronan.

The family will receive family and friends on Sunday, June 11, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, June 12, at the chapel of Cavin-Cook Funeral Home with Chaplain Eddie Karriker officiating. Burial will follow the service at Thyatira Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
