Mr. Norman Clay Caldwell, son of the late Alfred Wardell Caldwell and Mary Eva Caldwell, departed this life on Wednesday, February 8, 2023. He was born in Iredell County on February 24, 1956.

Mr. Caldwell was preceded in death by his sister Mrs. Ruth Marie Caldwell Sanders.

Clay was a graduate of Mooresville Senior High School, Class of 1974. Upon his return to Mooresville, N.C., he joined Living Water Ministry in Troutman, N.C, where he was a part of the drama, usher, and hospitality ministries. He helped in various ways wherever and whenever he was needed.

Clay leaves to cherish the memories his two brothers, Jerome Caldwell of Graham, N.C., and Leon Caldwell of Mooresville, N.C; two sisters, Beverly (Donnie) Howell, and Towandra (Larry) Hart, both of Mooresville, N.C; very dear and devoted aunt Betty Jean Cornelius and unclde Clinton Caldwell, both of Mooresville N.C; number one supporter/cousin, Hope (Artie) Copley; special cousin, Ariyanna (Oreo) Reid; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews, along with other relatives and friends.

Cavin-Cook Funeral Home & Crematory, Mooresville, is serving the family.
