Patricia Shumaker Hager, 78, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on Friday, July 14, 2023. She was born on August 7, 1944, in Mooresville to the late Kermit and Vera Verble Shumaker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Bobby Shumaker and Randy Shumaker; and grandson, Jerimy Beeker.

She is survived by her loving husband, Thomas J. Hager; children, Tammy Ragan (Richard) and Todd Hager (Kristy); brother, Michael “Mickey” Shumaker (Barbara), Terrie Alexander; grandchildren, Haley Gregory, Jonathan Hager, and Brittany Ragan; and eight great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 18, 2023, in the chapel of Cavin-Cook Funeral Home, Mooresville, with Chaplain Eddie Karriker officiating. Burial will follow the service at Glenwood Memorial Park, Mooresville. The family will receive friends prior to the service at the funeral home from 12:30 to 2 p.m.
