Patsy Haire Meadows, 83, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on Sunday, May 21, 2023. She was born on August 31, 1939, in Iredell County to the late Odell and Nellie Sherrill Haire.

She attended First Baptist Church of Mooresville, where she helped in the nursery for forty years. She retired in 1985 to take care of her family and grandchildren. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother and will be greatly missed.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Franklin “Frankie” D Meadows Jr.; sisters, Margaret Troutman and Martha Oliphant; and brothers, William “Bill” E. Haire and Con Haire.

She is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Franklin D Meadows; daughters, Debbie Sherrill (Brent) and Tammie Sullivan (Larry); grandchildren, Jeremy Sherrill (Helga), Jessica Galagan (Stephen), Timothy Sullivan (Lauren), Jenna Sullivan; great grandchildren, Nolan, Keaton, Anderson, Landon, Cailin, Carson, and Curtis; great-great grandchild, Jay; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home, Mooresville, with Rev. Earl Pennell and Rev. Mark Pitts officiating. Burial will follow the service at Glenwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2 to 3 p.m. at the funeral home.

The family would like to thank Charlotte for the love and care she gave to Patsy and the family.
