Patsy Louise Medlin, 84, passed away on Monday, May 29, 2023, in Thomasville, N.C. She was born on March 15, 1939, in Troutman, N.C.

Patsy was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Lee Medlin; and her parents, W. Ross Nesbit and Eva W. Nesbit.

She is survived by her children, Ronnie W. Sherrill (Linda), Crystal Y. Lail (Charles), Curtis D. Sherrill (Traci), Renee S. Medlin (Jerry), Ronnie L. Medlin (Pat), Sherri Foster, Tim W. Medlin, Gail, and Jeff Medlin; 12 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.

Patsy attended Troutman Grade and High School and was a medical assistant/secretary for Davis Hospital and for Statesville Medical Group. She enjoyed gardening, making crafts, and camping.

She was a member of Rolling Heights Baptist Church in Lexington, N.C.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2023, from 12 until 1 p.m. at Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home in Statesville, N.C. The funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. with Pastor Wayne Sechrest officiating. Burial will be at Forest Hill Memorial Park in Lexington, N.C.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
