Peggy Swing Christenbury, 91, of Little River, S.C., and formerly of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at River Park Senior Living in Little River, S.C.

Born June 20, 1931, in Mooresville, she was a daughter of the late Bonnie Julia Swing. Mrs. Christenbury was a homemaker and lifelong member of Broad Street United Methodist Church in Mooresville.

Mrs. Christenbury was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Luther “Buddy” Christenbury.

She is survived by her sons, Dan and Rich Christenbury; daughter-in-law, Lynne Christenbury; and grandchildren, Michael, Matthew, Katie and Emily Christenbury.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 10, 2023, at Glenwood Memorial Park, Mooresville, with Rev. Buddy Compton officiating.
