Preston Dale Goodman, 73, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on Monday, March 6, 2023. He was born on October 10, 1949, in Rowan County, N.C., to the late Raymer and Mildred Corriher Goodman.

Preston served in the U.S. Army and was a Vietnam veteran. He worked at Port City Electric and Tarheel Electric. He enjoyed hunting and the outdoors.

He will be greatly missed.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Rhonda Martin.

He is survived by his children, Renee Readling (Jeff) and Cole Goodman; brothers, Wiley Goodman (Brenda), Jake Goodman (Carolyn), and Lee Goodman; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 11, 2023, at Centenary United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Dr. Joe Collins officiating.
