Rachel Miller Dishman, 73 of Troutman, N.C., passed away Sunday, April 2, 2023.

Mrs. Dishman was born February 25, 1950, in Wilkes County, N.C., the daughter of the late Troy Miller and Cora Shepherd Miller. She was a graduate of Troutman High School, worked at Davidson College as an office manager and was a member of Houston Road Baptist Church. In 1967 Rachel married her beloved husband Mack Dishman, who passed in 2014.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Dishman was also preceded in death by a brother.

Those left to cherish the life and memory of Mrs. Dishman include her daughter, Lisa (Curtis) Dyson; her son, Brian (Sheila) Dishman; her grandsons, Matthew and Andrew Dyson; her granddaughters, Alicia (Gwen) Dishman and Lauren Dishman; her great granddaughter, Liberty Brown; great grandson, Landyn Brown; and four sisters and one brother.

A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 8, 2023, at Troutman Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Chancee Carter will officiate. The family will greet friends one hour prior from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
