Robin Denise Niday Richert, 62, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on Thursday, June 1, 2023, at her home. She was born June 13, 1960, in Roanoke, Va., to the late Latney Joseph Niday and Ella Niday Webb.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Debbie McDaniel.
Robin was a homemaker and an avid supporter of her husband’s career in NASCAR. She was a very faithful woman, very strong in her beliefs, and so very kind and giving to everyone. Robin was very passionate about animal rescue, helping to find homes for many fur babies.
Robin is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Doug Richert; sister, Angie Funderburk; brother, Joe Niday (Anne); half-sister, Shannon Wakeland; nieces and nephews, and her fur babies, and her many friends.
A Celebration of Robin’s Life will be held on Wednesday, June 7, at 7 p.m. at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home with Rev. John Miles and Rev. Steve Hale officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be from 5 to 7 p.m., also at the funeral home.
