Sheila Margarette Haire Hepler, 71, of Statesville, N.C., passed away on Friday, January 27, 2023. She was born on December 27, 1951, in Washington, D.C.

Sheila was the daughter of the late James Alexander Haire and Edna Myers Haire. She was also preceded in death by her husband of almost 50 years, Neely Clark Hepler.

Sheila was a graduate of South Iredell High School and Catawba Valley Community College. She was a long-time member of Knox Chapel United Methodist Church and more recently Triplett United Methodist Church. Sheila was a loving grandmother who adored her grandchildren.

She is survived by her son, Michael Hepler; daughter, Jennifer Hepler (Chris Hunley); three grandchildren, Matthew Staunton (Brianna Pineda), Alexis Hunley and Angel Hunley; a great granddaughter, Haylee Pineda; brother, Dewayne Haire (Ann); a niece, Melissa Green (Nick)
