Mrs. Sherry Daniels Mayfield, 76, was born in Iredell County on May 9, 1947, to the late John Daniels and Diathulia Viola Scott Daniels. She entered into eternal rest on Thursday, August 10, 2023, at the Gordon Hospice House in Statesville.

Celebration of Life services will be held on Wednesday, August 16, 2023, at 2 p.m. at Holsey Memorial CME Church, Statesville. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. at the church. Reverend Barbara McCullom will be officiating, and burial will follow in the Belmont Cemetery.
