Victoria Veronica Vanderstine (nee Ringled), 80, of Hamptonville, N.C. passed away on March 18, 2023, peacefully at home with her loving family surrounding her.

Born in Perth Amboy, N.J., Mrs. Vanderstine lived in Millstone Township, N.J., for 32 years before moving to Hamptonville, N.C., 15 years ago.

Victoria was a former member of St. Philip The Apostle Catholic Church in Statesville, N.C. She graduated from Perth Amboy High School in 1960. She was an avid crafter, enjoyed country music and Elvis, and had a love for travel, her pets and her family with all of her heart.

Victoria was a loving wife, devoted mother, sister, aunt, cousin and grandmother who touched lives of many with her love for family ties. She will be immensely missed by her family and friends.

Her parents, Anna and Samuel Ringled, along with siblings, Charles, Samuel Jr., Anna May Sherrill, Loretta, Richard, Eva Anthony and Ida Meehan preceded her in death.

Surviving are her husband of 59 years, Richard G. Vanderstine; a son, Richard G. Vanderstine Jr. and wife Denise of Jackson, N.J.; and a daughter, Denise Manger and husband Jason of Hamptonville, N.C.; and two grandchildren, Richard III and Brittany of Jackson, N.J.; and siblings, Harold Ringled of Old Bridge, N.J., Marion Anderson of Fords, N.J., Florence Barber of Palm Coast, Fla., Elizabeth Gattuso of Punxsutawney, Pa.; and many nieces and nephews.

A mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Friday, March 24, 2023, at St. Philip The Apostle Catholic Church with Father Thomas Kessler officiating. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. The family will greet friends Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Nicholson Funeral Home.
