Virginia “Ginny” Rowley Suitts, 77, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on Monday, May 1, 2023. She was born on September 22, 1945, in Ohio, to the late Richard and Sarah Lewis Rowley. She attended Mooresville ARP Church, Mooresville.

She was a faithful woman of God and a prayer warrior, and she enjoyed reading her Bible. Ginny loved to write and had some short stories published. She volunteered and organized events. She enjoyed playing cards and working puzzles. Ginny will be mostly remembered by the love she had for her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Side; daughter, Tricia Willhite; stepdaughter, Carolyn Hickey; brother, Rex Rowley; and sister, Rebecca Miller.

She is survived by her children, Geoff Rinehart (Melissa), Travis Rinehart, Tracee Neville (Michael), Christopher Side (Ashlyn), and Gabriel Side; brother-in-law, Skip Miller; 21 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 5, 2023, at The Cove Church, Mooresville, with Rev. Andy Ward officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Iredell County, 2347 Simonton Road, Statesville, NC 28625.
