Walter Joseph Murphy, 67, of Statesville, N.C., passed away on June 1, 2023. Born on May 17, 1956, in Pawtucket, R.I., he was the son of the late Franklin Larock and Madeline Beland (Murphy).

He is survived by his wife, Beth Murphy, of Statesville, N.C.; four daughters, 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one brother and two sisters.

The family will receive visitors and friends Wednesday, June 7, 2023, at Nicholson Funeral Home from 5 to 7 p.m.
