Agnes “Christine” Daniels Wilson, 83, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on Monday, December 2, 2024, at the S. Mitchell Mack Hospice House. She was born on September 11, 1941, in Mooresville to the late John and Mary Nantz Daniels.
Christine worked in the shipping department at Beauty Maid Mills in Statesville for 29 years. She later worked at Draymore Industries and Eaton Corporation, and she finished her career by working as a cashier in the cafeteria at Lowe’s Corporate Headquarters in Mooresville. She possessed such a friendly and kind personality. Christine loved to talk to people, and she always put others’ needs above her own.
She was a big Elvis Presley fan, loved country music, putting together puzzles, watching Westerns, and sharing all of her knowledge about celebrities and movie stars.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Johnny Claude Wilson; stepdaughter, Kim Brown; and stepson, Jimmy Wilson.
Those left to cherish Christine’s memory are her children, Roger W. Martin and Tammy Blankenship (Rick); brothers, Charlie Ray Daniels, Floyd Daniels, and George Daniels; stepson, Terry Wilson; stepdaughter, Cindy Wilson; grandchildren, Gena Martin Neal, Jana Martin, and Payton Blankenship; eight great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, December 6, 2024, at the chapel of Cavin-Cook Funeral Home with Rev. Andy Zegert officiating. Burial will follow the service at Glenwood Memorial Park, Mooresville. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1 to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
