Allen Warren Jackson, 78, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on Sunday, July 14, 2024, at Lake Norman Regional Medical Center in Mooresville. He was born on June 29, 1946, in Iredell County, N.C., to the late Vasteen and Ivy Corell Jackson.

Mr. Jackson was a graduate of South Rowan High School and Rowan-Cabarrus Community College, where he was a teacher and on the board of the electrical program. He was retired from Overcash Electric in Mooresville after over 35 years of service, where he was an electrical project manager. Allen was a lifelong farmer, and his favorite hobby was driving his John Deere tractor. He was a lifelong and active member of Prospect Presbyterian Church, Mooresville, where he served as the Sunday School Superintendent, Deacon, Elder, and was on the Building and Grounds Committee. He loved his church, spending time with his family, traveling, and always had a project going on.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother and sister-in-law, William and Sarah Jackson.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Ann Williams Jackson; children, Lisa Burgess (Dale) and Brian Jackson (Candace); and grandsons, Andrew Jackson and Seth Burgess.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 17, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 18, at Prospect Presbyterian Church with Rev. Will Gipe officiating. Burial will follow the service in the church cemetery.
