Ms. Angela Louise Leach, who was known as “Rabbit” and “Arabb Money-Leach,” passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, July 20, 2024. She was born in Iredell County on October 20, 1986, and was daughter of the late Betty Jean Leach and the late Harold Vanderburg, both of Troutman, N.C.
Angela graduated from Lake Norman High School and attended Joy Delight Church. She was employed for several years at Statesville Auto Auction, Bestco, and Debotech, where she was recently promoted to supervisor. She was a very fun-loving and caring person to all her family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by grandparents, Paul Leach Sr., William Vanderburg Sr. and Roberta Vanderburg.
She leaves to cherish the memory of her life her grandmother, Betty Louise Leach of Troutman; brothers and sisters, John (Kellie) Leach of Statesville, Dorothy (Niece-Mahalia) Leach of Troutman, Harold Vanderburg Jr., Paula Vanderburg, Ivory Vanderburg, Shane Vanderburg and Somone Massey; aunts and uncles, Pastor Walter (Beverly) Leach, Clara Rucker, and Bernice (Samuel) Sharpe, all of Troutman, Patrica Ellis of Statesville, Vera (Dennis) Long of Troutman and William Vanderburg of Mooresville; two dogs, King Louie and Gucci; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, co-workers and friends.
Celebration of Life Services will be conducted Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at 1 p.m. in the Mary B. Bigham Memorial Chapel of Rutledge and Bigham Funeral Home. Pastor Walter Leach will officiate and burial will follow in the Shephard Church of God Cemetery.
Ms. Leach will remain at Rutledge and Bigham Funeral Home, where members of the family will receive friends from 12 until 1 p.m., but will assemble at the residence at other times.
