Ann Harris Nelson, 93, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on Tuesday, September 10, 2024, at her home.

She was born April 17, 1931, in Baldwin County, Ala., to the late John Palmes Harris and Della Sloan Harris. In addition to her parents, Ann was preceded in death by husband, Gilbert “Gil” Brendt Nelson; son, Christopher Nelson; sisters, Jamie Hall and Letha Reddy; and brothers, Norman Harris and J. P. Harris.

She was the owner/operator of Ann’s Uniform Shop in Mooresville.

Ann is survived by her children, Roger Nelson, Jackie Sigmon (Barry), and Gary Nelson (Debbie); six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

A graveside service will be on Friday, September 13, at 4 p.m. at Glenwood Memorial Park.
