Barbara Ann Williams Everidge, 70, of Troutman, N.C., died Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at Gordon Hospice House following a lengthy illness.
She was born in Iredell County on July 28, 1954, to the late Jeff Williams and Eva Wall Williams. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Linda Stevens; and two brothers, Jerry Williams and Ricky Williams.
Ann retired from Jantzen and then was a homemaker for 35 years. She loved a clean house, cooking and eating a good meal, and riding motorcycles. Ann was an easy-going person and was fun to be around. She loved watching her hummingbirds, but more than anything, she loved being with her grandchildren.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 53 years, Tony Everidge; a son, Dwayne Everidge (Renee); a daughter, Annette Everidge; three grandchildren, Madison Gryder (Brandon), Justin Dakota Everidge (Mary Niblock), and Jordan Sigmon (Dalton), five great-grandchildren, Sabrina and Scarlett Sigmon, and Caydence, Evalynne, and Waylon Gryder; a sister, Norma Love (Roy), and her fur baby, Sassy.
Graveside services will be held Monday, August 5, 2024, at 11 a.m. at Harmony Cemetery with Mike Barnette officiating. The family will visit with friends Sunday from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at Nicholson Funeral Home.
Nicholson Funeral Home is honored to serve the Everidge family.
I’m so sorry to hear of Ann’s passing. She always talked about Tony and her kids when we work together at Jantzen and she could be a cut-up and he made my job so much fun. Heaven will shine brighter, I’m sure!
