Barry Mitchell, 74, of Statesville, N.C., went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 31, 2024. He was the husband of Patricia Felts Mitchell and the son of the late Clarence and Willie Mae Rumple Mitchell.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at 1:30 p.m. at Westwood Baptist Church in Statesville with Rev. Mike Hyde and Rev. Chris Karter officiating. Burial will follow at Iredell Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the church from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m.
