Bounpheng Inlavongsa, 77, of Troutman, N.C., peacefully passed away surrounded by her loved ones on February 16, 2024, at 6:44 p.m.
Bounpheng was born to Chanla and Booda Sisoukrath on April 13, 1946, in Na Khang, Laos. She was the second oldest of 11 children and grew up in Vientiane, Laos, before beginning her journey to America in 1976. She leaves behind an abundance of love and kindness that will forever be cherished by all who knew her.
Bounpheng is survived by her loving children, Oradee Inlavongsa, Joi Chanthavisouk, Jade Inlavongsa, and Kaitlyn Matias; 14 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren; as well as numerous stepchildren, siblings, extended family members, and friends who will miss her dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents and her loving husband Phomma Inlavongsa.
Bounpheng touched the lives of many and will be fondly remembered for her kindness, generosity and unwavering love. Although she may no longer be with us, she will forever remain in our hearts.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 21, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home. A service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, February 22, at the chapel of Cavin-Cook Funeral Home.
